Re: Westside "Road Crew"
Just posted some of that info on the website last night, use the left / right scroll buttons on the showcase area of the opening page or some of the events could also be duplicated in the lower part of the opening page. I'm a long way from completed but will be adding potential travel events and all of ours.rc jets wrote:Do we have dates for GAD and MAD 2016?!?

Westside "Road Crew" Mooreland Event
Guys,
Here is info sent to me from Darwin Loomis regarding their event...I've wanted to check this one out for years but just haven't made it! This year "Big D" and I have added it to our Fun Fly bucket list...Anyone else from the "Crew" interested?
We have a good time putting this fly-in, fun-fly on each year. From the time everyone leaves until the next year we look forward to seeing our friends. Comments like yours builds excitement. We have people bring RVs, tents, and some sleep in their airplane trailer. We have an air conditioned bathroom with a shower for anyone who needs it. The past years we have had some show up the weekend before labor day and enjoy a week of open flying. Usually the guys from S Texas prepare fajitas Wednesday evening, Thursday the Dumas, Texas guys have had brats, and my family will do the Friday evening food. This is a fun social gathering. Each evening several bring their night flyers out. We have a pond for anyone who likes to do float planes. Saturday. and Sunday we have a cater do the noon meals for donation to him. We do have a good time of flying all week, and then Saturday (Sept. 3rd), and Sunday(Sept. 4th) 2016 we will have a few fun-fly events, but we have open flying between events. Anything that flies is welcome

How do I join the "Road Crew"
A member asked me the other day how one joins the “Crew”, well that’s the great thing about it…If you’re a Westside member that likes to have a good time and enjoy some travel you’re already a member!! Of course we ask that when traveling with the group if you have any club attire throw it on just to promote our group. Don’t have any of that really good looking Green stuff? Well that’s another thing getting done in ’16, we plan on making available through the club or a direct link to more of that highly sought after attire!
