Just completed the AMA recommended 25 year airframe (1999 AMA sticker) condition exam on my Sig Kadet LT40 (serial #0001. Prove I’m lying! ) and had to replace the rudder hinges.
That explains the sloppy turns, kinda, and the funny noise it was making . Ready for another 25 years. Maybe recover it? Nah...... how could that make it better?
I think I’m the third owner, but the guy I got it from swore it was a ‘one-owner’
