New Years Day Chili Fly

Come out on New Years Day and get your first flight of the year in. We had 13 members last year get flights in. Lets see if we can beat that!

First day of 2024!! Good weather (for January) with low winds! Several flyers there and quite a few visitors wanting entertainment. We gave it to them! Had chili too! Thanks Kieth and Mike ( I think it was his, but if not then to the person that did provide!) for bringing that old all American treat! Some of us are starting our sixth year of making at least one flying day a month. Now is a good time to get your own start, with a few good weather days at the start of the month. Come on out and join the crowd!

The Chili Fly was successful. 11 members made it out with 8 of them getting their first flights of the year in. Not as many as last year but a pretty good turn out. We had quite a few visitors stop by thanks to Mike posting it on the Yukon happenings page. The day started out overcast but the wind was light (Oklahoma light) and after lunch the sun decided to come out. Turned out to be quite a nice afternoon. Now the guys who got their first flights in need to continue with the All Season Flyer quest. Here are a few pictures from the day.
