April 1 not a fools day joke. Some of us got are April flights.

FINALLY! Found a day I could go flying, and the weather was really nice for once. Not perfect, but good enough. Seven other flyers must have thought so! Wind was a little breezy, but ok. And a little across the runway, but that’s why we have rudders! This was the insurance day for the all season quest in April.

May flight is in. Great weather last night at the meeting. Managed to get 2 successful flights and 2 not so successful attempts. After some research found I had a bit too much battery in my night flyer when I broke my prop. Will be trying again soon with a lighter battery. That should help a lot. The bloody baron got bloody on a bad launch from me. Should have had someone launch for me since it was the first flight since changing the receiver. Not too bad of a fix and it will be back in the air.

Only flight in May was Tuesday evening 5/16.

June flight is done. It was a beautiful afternoon at the field but due to the weather forecast only had one battery ready to go. That's what I get for
believing the weather forecast. Dick Russ was out and got a flight in. The field is in great shape, thanks to whoever cut it this week.
