Had a quick club meeting Monday night at the field, the weather was too nice not to get some flying done. We had 7 members bring planes and multiple flights were made. My September flight is done. Managed to get three flights in today before the front started moving in. One flight each on my racers and one flight on the Citation. Did have a problem with the Citation going silent on approach. That will get your heart pumping :shock: It did come back and landed safe...

The field was cut Saturday morning and by 11:00 am fliers started to arrive. We ended up with 13 members coming out to get some flights in, have a few hot dogs and socialize. Saturday the club will be having a fun fly. Get your planes ready and come get some flights in. Hot dogs will be available around noon. Planning on doing some pylon racing if enough people show up with planes. NOTE: THE FIELD WILL BE CLOSED FOR MOWING UNTIL AROUND 11:00 AM.

We will be holding the S.A.D. event this year after missing the last few years due to COVID. Mark you calendar for September 24th and bring out your civilian or military aircraft for a fun day of flying.

August Newsletter
